Meeting Description:
The workshop is a cross-cultural meeting that seeks a balance of mechanistic organic chemists, chemical biologists, laser spectroscopists, gas-phase ion chemists, and ab initio theorists to discuss the chemistry and reaction dynamics of reactive intermediates. Attendance is by invitation only. Each of the attendees has some background or interest in the physical and mechanistic aspects of organic or biological chemistry. Each attendee will give a 50 minute lecture, the first 10-15 minutes of which is an introduction for non-specialists. Lectures are given during mornings and evenings, with the afternoons free for informal interactions.
