DESCRIPTION:Telluride Science is partnering with Original Thinkers and the Telluride Regional Medical Center for a special screening of The Pink Pill—a thought-provoking documentary that takes a closer look at the science and stories behind women’s health. \nThis compelling documentary explores the complex and often controversial world of women’s sexual health and the development of medications designed to address low libido. The Pink Pill invites audiences to consider who defines sexual wellness\, how it is treated\, and what empowerment truly means in the context of women’s health. The film will be introduced by OT Ringleader David Holbrooke. The film runs approximately 1.5 hours and will be followed by a Q & A moderated by Dr. Diana Koelliker. \nThe screening is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5 pm.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an informative evening dedicated to raising awareness and deepening  your understanding of breast health and breast cancer. \nOur panel brings together a diverse team of medical experts\, including a primary care physician\, a breast surgeon\, a radiologist specializing in breast imaging\, and specialists in oncology\, research\, and patient navigation. Together\, they will provide a clear and accessible overview of the latest concepts in screening\, early detection\, treatment options\, and ongoing research. Their combined perspectives—from prevention and diagnosis through treatment and survivorship—will help demystify the complexities surrounding breast cancer. \nWe are grateful to have local voices on the panel to share their personal journeys. Dr. Sharon Grundy\, primary care director at the Telluride Medical Center will add a unique perspective as a breast cancer survivor and lead physician at the Telluride Medical Center.
