CHANGING THE WORLD FROM TELLURIDE

Our purpose is to advance scientific knowledge and bring together global though-leaders to solve societal and planetary challenges. Annual we host 50+ workshops across the fields of biomedical science, energy, material science, climate, quantum computing, and fundamental science. Scientists, including Nobel Laureates, represent 400+ institutions annually.

impact

What if the process of aging could be slowed down or a cell could be reprogrammed to prevent diseases like cancer or Alzheimer’s? Breakthroughs like these are being explored in Telluride by some of the top scientists in the world.

the innovation center

Telluride Science closed on the purchase of the historic Telluride Depot on October 16, 2020. This  iconic building was transformed into the Telluride Innovation Center which made its debut in July 2024. It is now our  permanent home and also available as a community venue to rent for corporate meetings, celebrations, weddings and more.

outreach

Educational outreach with the Telluride and regional communities is an important component of our mission. The Telluride Science workshops and Town Talks are inherently educational and the graduate-level summer schools are specific programs within our organization’s core offering.

INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION IS CRITICAL TO FINDING SOLUTIONS TO OUR SOCIETAL CHALLENGES

“Telluride Science does this better and across a broader spectrum of science and technology than any other organization in the world. Its ability to accelerate the research of every scientist and engineer who comes to Telluride Science makes it one of the most impactful and scalable investments in science and technology.”
