Minds in Motion Workshop for Women Who Rip

Set in the inspiring mountains of Telluride, this pilot program brings together talented female collegiate skiers for an immersive blend of elite mentorship, mountain adventure, and performance-psychology training.
Participants will ski alongside renowned professional athletes and engage in transformative workshops led by Dr. Haley Perlus, a Ph.D. sport psychologist whose work with Olympic-bound athletes, high-performing teams, and global organizations has made her a leader in the science of peak performance.
Across two inspiring days, athletes will gain practical tools to strengthen confidence, sharpen focus, and rise to every challenge—on and off the slopes—within a supportive community of women committed to excellence.
There is a public outreach component to this event: a panel discussion Skiers Who Rip: Lesson from the Mountain on Courage, Grit and Growth on January 5 and presentation the Science of Peak Performance: How to Apply Sport Science Mindset to Business and Life on January 6.
This pilot initiative will serve as a model for future leadership training programs for a wide range of groups, including young scientists at the start of their careers.
